This is the relaxation area in my studio apartment. That plant is a Pachira aquatica, which friends gifted me when they visited for a housewarming. The space above is for the boiler; since the door is made of metal, magnets stick to it, so I used magnets to secure the metal mesh. I hung up my travel photos, Henri Matisse postcards, and a Claude Monet poster. An orca plushie I bought at SeaWorld San Diego is hanging from a clip, and a Bonobono doll I received as a gift while camping with friends is hanging from the blind adjustment cord... haha. When I look out the window from this space, I can see buildings as well as mountains, so it makes my weekend afternoons happy.
