This is the kitchen of a 30-year-old apartment building. I wanted the long, narrow kitchen to look bright and spacious. I put a lot of thought into the kitchen layout while designing it myself. It had to be able to store a dishwasher and small appliances, have a kitchen counter, and not have a large refrigerator or tall cabinet at the kitchen entrance.
