A kitchen separated from the living room with a large window. It is nice that it is not visible from the living room, even if it gets quite messy. I was going to use matte white kitchen tiles, but I thought they would be difficult to maintain, so I went with teal hexagon tiles and dove gray grout. It is definitely easier to maintain and adds a nice accent to my white home. I also painted the white veranda door a color that matches the tiles and changed it to aqua glass, and it looks quite harmonious, so I am satisfied.
