Due to my start date being suddenly moved up after changing jobs, I ended up moving the day before work and hurriedly choosing a place to live and signing the lease two days prior. It was only on moving day that I realized the new home was so small that none of the furniture from my previous house would fit. As a result, I couldn't use large furniture like a king-size bed, a huge recliner, or a solid wood dressing table. Instead, I had to buy all new, small furniture suitable for a compact apartment with just one bedroom and one living room. I received a great deal of help from the Today's House app regarding furniture types, arrangement, and purchasing. I purchased a large-diameter round table to use for meals or working on my laptop in the space next to the bed, and I laid down a round jacquard rug that I had spotted on the app the moment I saw it and thought, "Oh my, I have to buy this!"
