Although it is a two-room apartment, I haven't placed the bedroom inside; instead, I am using it as a combined living room and bedroom. I have a cable in front of the sink so I can eat there, but I don't actually cook. Cooking creates smells and food scraps... Since I used to run a restaurant, I think I really wanted to avoid doing it at home. To hide the clutter around the sink, I hung a chiffon curtain using pushpins. It serves as a screen, and I like that it doesn't make the space look cramped :)
