There was a shoe cabinet and a small pantry room on both sides. As a housewife, I wanted storage on both sides,, My husband, a father, wanted to make a bench for the kids. My husband won!! But it's so pretty...^^ A large mirror along with the bench🪞 is Mom's photo zone.
