I decorated our newlywed home in a bright and cheerful style. We already have a bedding set from our wedding dowry, but since my husband sweats a lot, I bought a new, affordable set from IKEA so we could wash and reuse it frequently. I think it actually creates a pretty nice atmosphere. I haven't been to Nordic... but to capture that vibe, I tried sticking white electrical tape to the old windows of our 90s-era apartment. Since we are renting, I tried to decorate with a focus on cost-effectiveness as much as possible.
