1. Desk I wanted the living room to express what I value most as much as possible. I wanted to decorate the living room as a study space, but since the bookshelf, kitchen island, and refrigerator are all rectangular, I thought a rectangular desk would feel too rough. So, I chose a round desk that offers ample space! It also embodies my philosophy of "becoming a round person" haha. 2. Bookshelf I had already set my sights on this bookshelf before moving in because I loved it so much. I hesitated for a long time thinking they only came in large sizes, but I was delighted to find out there were smaller ones too, so I bought it without hesitation. Perhaps because of the metal pillars on the top and bottom edges, it feels luxurious, and the border only in the center gives it the feeling of embracing my heart. 3. Rug Since this is a space I hold dear, I initially bought an expensive rug, but I didn't like it, so I returned it. The rug in the photo is one I returned and repurchased from a different place. It was much cheaper, but it is much prettier than I expected and I really like it haha. It does get dirty easily, though... but since it is a light color, I guess that is the case with any rug haha. The price was good, so I am thinking of buying a different color from the same place next winter.
