I wrote about it in today's housewarming, but before decorating my room in the early days of living alone, I looked at 'Today's House' or 'Pinterest' and realized early on that pretty houses have storage and organization as the point! I bought a desk with a large storage unit and drawers to hide my stuff, and several storage boxes, but after living alone for two years, I was on the verge of running out of storage space due to my stuff growing bigger and bigger! I always used storage boxes and organizing stuff only for hiding, but the Aikasa folding box is a point in itself, like an interior decoration, and comes in various colors, so I can store it openly without hiding it, to match the mood of the room.
