I finally made the big decision to get rid of the TV in the living room. Maybe it's because of that, but my 5-year-old daughter, who used to ask to watch TV as soon as she woke up, now pesters me to read to her from the morning onwards. It has become a bit of a hassle, haha, but it was still rewarding.
