Mercie d'aujourd'hui (Today's Gratitude) Today's gratitude is for giving new life to the Rhipsalis from the angelic florist sister (I don't know who she is, but I'll call her Rhipsalis)🌱✨ The Rhipsalis is a new plant that I brought home about a year ago when I moved into my current house. I grew it well in a hanging pot, but I didn't know that the soil had to be treated differently depending on the characteristics of the plant. Maybe it was too humid, but a tiny bug called a toktok appeared in the pot. It's not a pest, but I couldn't leave it by my bedside. I sent it to the veranda and bought some plant pesticide and poured it on it, but the bugs appeared again. I asked the florist what to do. They said that I had to pour out all the soil, shake it off, and then replace it with new soil. So I poured out all the soil and tried to leave it in hydroponics for a while, but when I searched (which is contradictory, running and searching), it turned out that it's a plant that's difficult to grow in hydroponics. I called a nearby flower shop in a hurry. I wondered if it was possible to replant the Rhipsalis. When they said it was possible and that I could come right now, I ran to the shop with the Rhipsalis in a water bottle. The florist filled the pot with soil and worried that the roots were not in good condition. I asked the price with gratitude, and they said it was worth it, and told me to focus on helping the Rhipsalis grow strong for now. I thought that she was a person who was serious about plants and that she was more worried about the Rhipsalis than I was, so I made a promise to myself that I would take good care of it. The Rhipsalis returned to the room like that. (As a bonus, I cut a monstera plant that was growing well on the veranda and grew it hydroponically🌿) Today, I remember the moment I received the gift and think that I should become a person who gives too ◡̈
