I think I will spend my last year-end in the first house that my husband and I rented. I will start construction on a new house around this time next year. I thought a lot about whether I should buy cheap furniture that I can use for a while and throw away. I think I made a good choice by choosing items that are too much for a small house, but fit well in the house I am moving to and can be used for a long time. When I have a large living room, I plan to bring in the Cuban chair and the Tolomeo floor lamp that everyone else uses but I don't.
