This is the first-floor living room that I use most often! When I first moved in, I did a lot of searching to buy a sofa, but it wasn't easy to find one that was pretty, affordable, and matched the height of my frequently used table while still having access to an outlet. I kept putting it off, but eventually, instead of throwing away the storage bed from my previous home, I brought it to sell. Since it was detachable, I split it up and tried using just one side, and it worked better than I expected. So, I ordered some sponge and fabric online to cover it. I measured the size and ordered a sponge about 3cm thick; it moved around a bit, so I just taped it down loosely, and I'm using it now. The result is that I'm very satisfied. I'm no longer burdened by the thought of throwing it away if necessary when I move next time. Since it's quite wide, I sometimes play downstairs and fall asleep right there without going upstairs, which is very comfortable. Because it was originally a storage bed, there are drawers underneath, which is great for storing various things. For those looking for a sofa for a studio or one-bedroom apartment, I recommend considering a platform sofa.
