No possessions. Because of this cool-sounding word, I decided to reduce the size of my life and give up my greed. But why is this not working for me… There are many things I want to have and many things that look pretty, but my inner feelings are getting further and further away from the minimalist life that I thought I was pursuing. Because of this, the atmosphere in my house was extremely messy, as if it reflected my feelings. When I started to make ‘home decoration’ my main job(?), I started to let go of the word ‘minimalist life’ that I had been insisting on. I concluded that ‘minimal’ was not for me in this life, and the moment I admitted that I was an unavoidable maximalist to the core, the space I live in became harmonious with the overflowing complexity. Somehow, I think I will enjoy the maximalist life in my next life, but I plan to enjoy this kind of lifestyle.
