📝 Part 1. Preparing gifts 🎁 - The annual Daebangeo party held on the first Saturday of December has already been held for the third time and has become a tradition for us. I was surprised. After spending about 1,200 days in this house, I have created a tradition that has deepened considerably... In 2020, Jiyoung shouted, ‘Let’s eat Daebangeo!’ It all started when Jiyoung shouted, ‘Let’s eat Daebangeo!’ Starting with the first Daebangeo party that year, we held our third party this year and had a lot of fun experiences as a home party host. Because our house is so small, we had no choice but to limit the number of people to 7, but this year, we planned to have 9 people by removing the existing furniture and adding a table. I wanted to give a gift! I started preparing this and that a month ago, but I wanted to give a sincere gift. After much thought, I decided to make pretty candles myself and went to Bangsan Market without warning to buy a lot of candle materials. It seems like an easy task to just melt wax, pour it into a mold, and let it harden… But since I only had a few molds, I could barely make one or two finished pieces a day. Even then, I had to take them out of the molds and melt them again to harden them. That’s why the tables at Moonyeon Tea House were covered in wax for about three weeks. There was nothing I could do. Since candle making is a battle of patience, I melted and poured wax all night long after work for almost three weeks. Since it was my first time making them, the finished pieces are rough. However, I didn’t feel embarrassed to show them off… I really did my best because I wanted to give them away beautifully. I made candles that were so colorful 🧸🧀🎄❄️⛄️🔔🎅🏻 that gave off a Christmas vibe! I was so happy to see them wrapped so nicely. The day of the grand defense party - I was so happy that I almost cried because everyone liked it so much that I wondered, 'Who was this gift for?' It was a preparation period where I was thankful that there were people who could give gifts with all their hearts. ✍🏻 To be continued in Part 2... 🧑🏻‍🎄 I want to write down the story of the grand defense party in detail because I want to record it somewhere. *This is not a scented candle with fragrance oil, but a candle made by melting and hardening wax :)
