I like sleeping with a slightly thicker duvet even in the summer, so I ordered this because it looked substantial, and it is the perfect thickness! Those who sleep with really thin duvets in the summer will probably find it too hot. The pillow cover is pretty, and since there is an anti-slip pattern on the bottom of the pad, it definitely seems to slide less!!
