This is a shelf using IKEA's hanger rail. The shelf itself was made as part of the interior woodworking project, so it is very sturdy. I separately requested that IKEA purchase three rails for the bottom of the shelf and attach them. Similarly, IKEA's S-shaped hooks and magnetic tongs are attached to the rail, making it very convenient for hanging various kitchenware and hand towels.
