The floor was discolored and dirty even after cleaning, so I laid down decorative tiles. It was hard because the scissors weren't cutting well, but I'm glad it's clean. I was hesitant about hanging curtains on the laundry room window, so I installed blinds, and it's nice because less light comes in!
