I'm sensitive to scents, so I really, really like incense sticks🤎 I'm not a Buddhist, but the subtle scent from temples seems to soothe my mind❕ The second picture is my incense collection zip box, where I pick out the scents I like and burn them✨ There are many types of incense, but (officially) the most representative ones are Jukhyang and Seonhyang🫧 Jukhyang is literally made by wrapping incense powder(?) around a thin wooden surface like Pepero and hardening it. When you burn incense, the so-called temple scent is the basic base. ◡̈ For those who say they don't like incense because it gives them a headacheㅠ, most of the scents they dislike are Jukhyang! The heavy and strong scent and the different scents within it are attractive🤎 Seonhyang is made by hardening only the incense powder without wood!
