Everyone gets a chance to choose their family once they are born. My parents and siblings were decided regardless of my will, but my spouse is the only family I can choose. I thought it was amazing that I could choose my own family. And I used that big decision-making power that was given to me at the slightly late age of 39 to choose my family. When we were young, we all vaguely dreamed of a common dream, a dream of meeting a loving spouse and living happily in a pretty house. In the letter my husband wrote on my birthday, it said that we can't do everything we like and want to do in life, but let's live by doing the thing we want to do the most. It's good to have someone by my side who I can do what I want to do with. Our family, where we spend meaningful time with each other and laugh a lot, is always grateful and happy🤍
