It’s been six months since I moved in. Since this space serves as both my studio and living area, I designed the living room for relaxation and the studio with a hip, neon vibe. I filled the bedroom with plants to create an arboretum-like atmosphere. As a fan of James Turrell’s work, I wanted to balance the tones in each space and create an atmosphere where color seems to linger in the air. I chose yellow tones for the living room wallpaper and curtains, so when light comes in, the entire space turns yellow, creating a dreamy atmosphere. Every morning, I just let loose and indulge in narcissism. The yellow light is so strong that it’s difficult to get the exposure right in the photos. When I move to a bigger house, I plan to install Barrisol lights across the entire ceiling. Of course, the ceiling height needs to be high. Since Olympic Park is right in front of the house, I consider the continuity of 'rest' between nature and my living space. It’s all about healing.
