3rd year duplex living single-family home review of pros and cons 💖 Pros☺️ 1. It's pretty.. ㅎ Most duplexes are made of glass, so they're really pretty when the sunlight is strong. I often find myself pulling the curtains up!! 2. You can separate the space! The biggest reason I initially chose a duplex was the separation of space. I wanted to use the first floor as a workroom and the upper floor as a place to rest, and I still live like that ㅎㅎ When I go upstairs, I just lie down!! 3. It's not stuffy Since it's a studio, it can feel stuffy, but since the ceiling is high, it definitely feels less stuffy even though it's a studio. Cons😭 1. Hot and cold The biggest advantage and disadvantage is that it is made of glass, but when it's hot, the sunlight is direct, so it's really hot like a sauna, and in the winter, the wind is strong, so it's really cold as if you're outside..ㅎAlso, there's no heating in the mezzanine, so I have to use a separate electric blanket because I put my bed on top..ㅎㅎ 2.
