The design is pretty with a European feel, so it's good for plating desserts or fruits. I was surprised that there were a few pieces of the bowl in the box when it was delivered, but they didn't seem to have fallen off the bowl. The back is poorly attached, so it's obvious that it's cheap. It's pretty when plated, so I'm using it for home parties.
