I am a woman living with my parents. Since I couldn't replace the flooring or wallpaper, I tried to cover up nail holes with postcards and change the atmosphere with a rug. I tried to make my room feel like a studio apartment, a space just for me. As the room already had a white wardrobe and a dark oak bookshelf, I set the room's tone to white (ivory) and oak (solid wood) and decorated it to maximize storage space! It is my realistic and warm room, packed efficiently with a bed, dressing table, bookshelf, desk, and wardrobe. I hope this helps!
