Having lived in dormitories from my high school days studying abroad through my time as a flight attendant overseas, I have always dreamed of having my own space. When I settled in Seoul last year, I intended to decorate my own space beautifully and live comfortably. However, my younger sibling, who was going abroad for training, handed me their household items, saying that even a roll of toilet paper costs money when living alone. I ended up accepting and using them exactly as they were, living haphazardly. Consequently, I couldn't feel any attachment to this first-ever space of my own, and it was full of things I didn't like. After living like that for a little over a year, it suddenly occurred to me that I would never be able to live in the space of my dreams if things continued this way. So, thinking that decorating one space a month would be manageable both financially and physically, I decided to try decorating my bedroom. On the side not visible in the photo, I placed a clothes rack and a chest of drawers and covered it with a white curtain. From now on, I plan to transform the kitchen, living room, and bathroom into the spaces I envision.
