The living room features floor-to-ceiling, rounded windows on both sides. I removed all the existing blinds and hung the flowy chiffon curtains I had always dreamed of. Because of the baby, I had no choice but to place the sofa against the wall rather than by the window. However, the marble had been damaged and electrical outlets had been installed to set up the wall-mounted TV, so I wanted to cover that area. After agonizing over it for days, I decided to cover it with a canvas painting by Mike Schick. I am satisfied because it matches the marble wall well without clashing with the overall vibe of the living room. I am currently considering hanging the painting a bit further away to create an asymmetrical look. I also switched the sofa from a beige leather one to a fabric one. It will be pretty much complete once the soundproofing mat installation is finished. ^^
