Our bedroom was a wooden frame bedroom (aka princess bed. It was imported furniture, so it was high) that we bought as newlyweds. After moving to a small room, we used the mattress from the small room, and then we went to a single room bedroom. This time, we simply put a mattress on a low-profile bed frame and decorated the bedroom with a new atmosphere by changing from a high bed to a completely low bed. In the end, we went from queen size to SS size and finally settled on a queen size mattress. It was definitely hard to roll around on the SS size bed except for sleeping (I almost fell off because I rolled around after sleeping wide).
