This is Room 2, the study, which has become my favorite space these days. Actually, I agonized over whether to make this room a master bedroom, a dressing room, or a computer and study. The view felt too beautiful to just use it as a dressing room or put a computer in. So, in the end, I decided to turn it into a comfortable room for reading. Pretty and comfortable things are expensive, you know... There were plenty of pretty things at IKEA, but this was the only comfortable one. So, I brought home the Poäng, which lacks any intricate details. I hung the curtains myself, and I recreated the look exactly as I used them in my newlywed home—the rug, the lamp, and the tomato soup-shaped storage stool. It is a room where I truly repurpose items.
