I rearranged the dog house. Since the dog doesn't go inside often, I moved it to a slightly more open location. Inside, I put clothes and toys that smell of humans to help the dog feel a sense of familiarity. I thought placing it in a corner would make it feel more secure, but I guess that's not the case. The dog does go inside occasionally. I'm satisfied with that. The color of the dog house has brightened up the interior as well. I'm using the vintage-style bag in front as a trash can by putting a 10L standard garbage bag inside, but it fits a 30L bag easily. The trash can is really adding to the decor.
