This is the part of the house I paid the most attention to. Since there is a high possibility that various cooking utensils will get scattered over time, I put a lot of effort into keeping it as tidy as possible during construction. As someone who lives a maximalist lifestyle, I needed a lot of storage, so I installed upper cabinets only on the right side that isn't visible from the front. I added a sense of weight by using a dark navy color only on the bottom, and for the stainless steel products, I chose a matte finish so they wouldn't stand out under the lighting. I want to live as neatly as possible, but I think this current look—before the moving boxes arrive—might be the cleanest it looks, haha.
