Since the living room was extended, sunlight only reaches the exact width of what used to be the veranda. It faces south, but the sun doesn't reach it because of the tall apartments across the street. ㅠ I suppose that is the biggest downside of a first-floor apartment. Still, I love being able to see greenery outside the window.
