I removed the TV and transformed the space into a reading area. The living room is the most prominent part of the house, but having a TV there meant I ended up constantly watching the "idiot box." To change that, I boldly removed the TV and placed books there, installing Klimt's *The Kiss* along with lighting to highlight it. It is the perfect place to read a book alone with a glass of wine on a weekend evening.
