We didn't have much time because three families moved in at once on moving day. We moved our belongings in and did the self-cleaning on the day of the move. It was so hectic. I applied masking tape thoroughly and painted it once with primer and once with paint. In total, I applied primer once and paint twice. I painted all the way up to the ceiling, and it is currently drying.
