I bought a new rug for the summer. I think sisal-look rugs are great for the entryway, veranda, and under the dining table. While using natural materials would be nice, they tend to shed crumbs and are difficult to wash, making maintenance challenging. I placed a sisal-look rug at the entrance where I step with my shoes on, and it was so convenient and pretty that I ended up buying several more.
