I am currently working on refurbishing the upper kitchen cabinets, a project I had put off for a year since my online housewarming. I had doubts about whether matte white would actually look good in the kitchen, but I pushed ahead with it. I feel encouraged knowing that there are people who support my taste. Also, having used white throughout the house for several years, I’ve lost my fear. It’s not as finicky to maintain as I thought. Of course, that is just my subjective opinion. I dream of a kitchen without upper cabinets, but I think I should try that in a larger space that includes a utility room.
