As a member of O-House, the private community of Today's House, I had the opportunity to tour Episode Seongsu 101 and spend a night at Episode 121, which is not yet officially open. Episode Seongsu 101 and 121 are realizing the value of sharing under the catchphrase, "Proposing solutions for a new lifestyle." Breaking the stereotypes of traditional residential spaces, they offer stays ranging from short-term (one month) to long-term residency. Although it is strictly a space for oneself, stepping out of the room allows one to meet and mingle with diverse people; it is a residential culture brand that feels far too significant to be simply labeled a "shared house." The major difference between Episode Seongsu 101 and other communal housing is that it expands the meaning of a living space from one that prioritizes ownership to one that places greater importance on experience. Episode Seongsu 101 features a structure and necessary amenities well-equipped for solo living. Furthermore, it is impressive that products needed for daily life, such as tableware, accessories, and furniture, are available for rent on a time-based basis. Residents here are called "Epis," and they can experience various community events at Episode Seongsu 101 every week. The variety of activities is extensive, including cooking classes, yoga, meditation, tea ceremonies, and crafts. The program hosts are YouTubers and influencers who are leading current trends, so you don't have to go out of your way to find them; a community space with "hip" people is right where you are. You can even bring your pet dog or cat, which is usually something you wouldn't even dream of. I am looking forward to seeing what diverse episodes will unfold in these 101 spaces where life meets life, and I am even more excited for the upcoming episodes of Seongsu. 🪐 P.S. It was a great time and I thank everyone: the O House members, Mugwasu, Ssu, and Manager Park Areum from Sk D&S who worked so hard to give us the tour. Let's see each other often! 👏🏻 @iam.ep___ @o.house.official
