My vanity was originally black marble, but it looked too dark, so I bought two sheets of marble adhesive film from Daiso and stuck them on. The adhesive was stronger than I expected, so it seems to have stuck well. It was actually harder to apply than I thought, though. Still, it looks pretty, so that's a relief.
