After moving into a detached house, I decided to try a kitchen without upper cabinets. Well, I solved the ventilation issue with an induction cooktop that has a built-in hood. It was a bit inconvenient at first without upper cabinets, but now that I've gotten rid of things I don't use and only keep the kitchen essentials, I feel lighthearted. Come to think of it, even back when I lived with upper cabinets packed full, the things I actually used weren't much different from now.
