I ended up using a reddish-brown storage cabinet made of pine. A unique feature of this cabinet is that the right hinged door is finished with wire mesh instead of glass. I originally used furniture that mimicked solid wood by covering laminated wood with wood film, but switching to solid wood furniture with a textured surface might not look much different in photos, but it is quite a difference in person.
