Entering through the front door, this is the typical space in an old apartment connecting the kitchen and living room. Others use this spot for the refrigerator, but ours is too big. It felt too cramped trying to fit it in when we moved in, so we just moved it out to the living room. 😭 Since it's a rental, we just moved in as is and couldn't even dream of remodeling, so the living room ended up being smaller. But there is a certain charm in decorating it differently from others, haha. We placed an island table in that typical refrigerator spot and are currently putting the things we need on it.
