My child has grown up so fast. He said he wanted to make his room look pretty, so I rearranged the furniture and prepared some decorative items. Now that he seems to like it a little more, he falls asleep happily every night. The wardrobe, bed, and other furniture were all purchased from IKEA when he started elementary school. These white pieces helped realize my dream. The lamp standing next to the bed is also an IKEA product. Around the end of last year, I installed blackout curtains that fit perfectly to block the clutter on the veranda and prevent drafts. I was going to go with chiffon curtains, but I thought pure white blackout curtains would make the room feel cozier. Recently, I replaced the duvet inserts and covers with allergy-free ones for the kids, and I am absolutely thrilled with them. Just changing the crisp duvets made it feel just like a hotel staycation. I treated it like skipping a meal out to change the atmosphere of the room, and now my child is smiling more and seems happier.
