I started remodeling after moving into a 15-year-old apartment, as I wanted to change the wood-toned moldings and the overall atmosphere to something brighter. Instead of going with a turnkey plan, I met with each contractor individually and received quotes, which allowed me to save between 6 and 10 million won compared to getting quotes for a turnkey package. It was a bit physically demanding, but I felt even more proud once it was finished. ^^ I originally planned to set up the living room as a study, but after buying a TV, I suddenly changed its purpose(!) and created this multi-purpose space in our home. It serves as a cafeteria to relax sometimes, a study to read, and a place where the family enjoys a meal out(?) outside of the dining table—a place that evokes a variety of moods. I did the TV backing, the air conditioner sticker renovation, and the ceiling light box painting myself.
