For our home, we used wood and white as the main colors. To save money, instead of hiring an interior design firm, I personally managed and supervised the site, resulting in a semi-DIY interior project. I chose solid oak wood for the flooring and overall furniture, while the walls, decorative items, and kitchen are all in white tones. To create the open-plan kitchen I had always dreamed of, I carefully selected everything from handles to built-in outlets through overseas direct shipping, aiming for a spacious and pleasant cooking studio feel. Since this was my second semi-DIY project, I started with confidence, but there were many challenging aspects because the structure and design methods were different from my previous home. However, now that the interior is finished, I feel proud to have accomplished something, as many people have complimented the design and I've even received requests for photo shoots from media outlets. To create the open-plan kitchen, I sold my old refrigerator, which I had purchased less than a year ago, and bought a new built-in model.
