I originally used just a mattress on a wooden platform, but in the winter, whenever I sat in bed and leaned against it, the wall would feel cold. So, I started looking for a headboard and ended up buying this! More than anything, I was worried it wouldn't match the wooden platform, but fortunately, it looks great. The atmosphere really changes a lot with and without the headboard! It feels warmer and cozier, and it's pretty, so I really like it! The delivery was also carefully packaged, right down to the corners. It's lighter than I expected, so I was able to lift it up effortlessly by myself and set it up between the mattresses!
