I finally invited friends over to the study/salon on the first floor. I have no idea how many months it took to finish the DIY interior work—from the carpentry and painting to the flooring—and bring in the furniture and decor. It is a space that makes me feel proud every time I look at it, but there is also a corner filled with unspeakable sadness. I initially didn't plan to install pendant lights because they have many restrictions, but I changed my mind this time, and I can't tell you how much I love the new light fixture I installed. The very last photo shows the space before the light fixture was installed (for comparison!). Since building the house and doing the construction myself, my husband has become a pro at running the lighting wires! 😂♡ I hope it looks as beautiful to others as it does to me, hehe...
