<The Impact of Room Layout on Me> It wasn't about changing the house or moving to a different room; it was simply changing the layout of a room, yet I came to experience how that alone could bring about small changes to my life. . I was just doing a spring cleaning on the weekend without any plan. Since I was going to be moving furniture around and cleaning anyway, I thought I might as well rearrange the room since I was bored. (I don't know how many times I said, "I shouldn't have started this." But the catch is that once you start, you can't stop.) . After placing the bed against the wall, I wondered where to put the bookshelf. I just thought, "Oh well," and placed it between the desk and the bed like a partition...! What is this cozy feeling?🤭💕 . It felt like I had created my own secret hideout, the kind I dreamed of as a child🥰 . I had worried that dividing the space in a small room might feel too stifling, but once I actually finished organizing, this space with just the bed separated felt incredibly cozy. . Even though I’m an adult with hardly any privacy to speak of, I was so happy to think about hiding in this space (even though no one in the house looks for me) and quietly enjoying my homebody hobbies all by myself🥰 Reading has become my number one pastime📚 Whether it’s due to the cozy room layout or because the book itself is interesting, opinions may differ😆 but ultimately, after rearranging my room, I finished reading a book I had been wanting to read. (I tend to read slowly, so I feel proud just finishing one book😊 It was quite a thick book, but finishing it in three days is the speed of light for a turtle like me✨) I can’t know for sure if the room layout actually improved my reading speed😆, but it is certain that it has become a space that makes me want to keep doing something. . I feel proud and happy that I seem to have prepared to enjoy the rainy season and the long summer, which could have otherwise been somewhat boring and lethargic. . If you are bored with your repetitive and stifling daily life, I recommend changing the scenery closest to you❤️ @ena_inaday https://www.instagram.com/ena_inaday
