Since the living room has a narrow layout, I decorated it with small furniture. I filled it only with essentials, and replaced any trees I wasn't confident in growing with artificial ones; at first glance, you can't really tell they are artificial, haha. I spent a long time agonizing over which floor lamp to choose. Because there wasn't any lighting that suited the living room, I tried creating the atmosphere by installing indirect lighting in the curtain box. It is cheaper than a floor lamp, creates a really great ambiance, and since the living room is small, turning on just the indirect lighting is enough to cover the space.
