My husband and I rarely sleep on the floor, so even though we have a baby, we have a crib, changing table, and our bed together... so we almost never had to put the baby down on the floor. Now that the baby has started rolling over, it has become dangerous to leave him/her alone on our bed. I laid out a play mat on the living room floor that I had bought in advance. I rolled it up and stored it standing up, but the weight left some serious marks on the mat. 😢 It should be fine after a few days, right?
