Even though I live with my parents, I wanted to decorate my room to be my own space with an independent atmosphere. Previously, my room was filled mainly with sturdy but clunky bright ivory furniture that I had used since high school. However, while stuck at home due to COVID-19, I completely revamped my room. The most necessary step and the first step in rearranging the room was getting rid of unnecessary items. After discarding without hesitation many things I had accumulated over 10 years without even touching them, simply because I felt it was a waste to throw them away, the room looks much cleaner and more spacious. From now on, I plan to fill this room only with things I love and truly need. The overall vibe is vintage, blending deep wood tones with khaki and dark green. I was watching the Netflix series *Queen's Gambit*, set in the US during the 1960s and 70s, and Beth's teal living room looked so beautiful. Although I couldn't change the wallpaper, I created this look by referencing the interiors of European homes and lounge bars from the 60s and 70s :)
