I wanted to create a warm and comfortable atmosphere, so I coordinated the space with light-colored solid wood furniture and bedding, adding small accent pieces here and there. I prioritize practicality and ease of maintenance. I found that if something is difficult to care for, it is hard to keep it looking good. I placed essential items I reach for frequently on the shelf and organized anything that might look cluttered into drawers and storage boxes; I liked how much neater the space felt. I was tempted to decorate with rattan items, but I thought it would be a hassle to maintain once they got dusty. So, I got just one aquatic plant basket that I really loved and filled the rest with plain storage boxes. Since I can simply brush off any dust with a dust brush, I think I made the right choice doing it this way. :)
